Feeling anxious? You're not alone.

Anxiety can hijack your sleep, focus, relationships, and confidence—leaving you exhausted just trying to get through the day. Together we'll quiet the constant worry, build practical coping skills, and help you reconnect with what matters most.

What anxiety can look like

If any of these feel familiar, counselling can help.

Racing heart & tight chest

Your body stays on high alert—even when nothing seems obviously wrong.

Non-stop worry

A busy mind that jumps to worst-case scenarios and never seems to switch off.

Trouble sleeping

Difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up already feeling tense.

Panic attacks

Sudden waves of intense fear, dizziness, breathlessness, or feeling out of control.

Avoidance

Skipping situations that feel overwhelming—even ones you used to enjoy.

Physical tension

Headaches, jaw clenching, muscle tension, upset stomach, or general restlessness.

How we'll work together

A blend of practical tools and a place to actually feel heard.

Understand your anxiety

We'll map the patterns behind your anxiety—triggers, thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations—so it becomes something you understand instead of something that controls you.

Build coping skills

Together we'll practise practical strategies like grounding, breathing, mindfulness, and CBT techniques that you can use in everyday life—not just in the counselling room.

Work through the roots

Sometimes anxiety has deeper roots. When it feels helpful, we'll gently explore past experiences, relationships, or beliefs that continue to influence how you feel today.

Get your life back

The goal isn't simply feeling less anxious—it's helping you reconnect with relationships, work, school, hobbies, and the parts of life anxiety has been pushing aside.

“You are not your anxious thoughts. You are the person noticing them—and that person has far more room than you think.”

Common Questions

A few questions people often ask before starting anxiety counselling.

Do I need a diagnosis to come to counselling?

No. If anxiety is getting in the way of your life, that's reason enough. We don't need a diagnosis to begin working together.

Will I have to relive past trauma?

Only if and when it feels safe and helpful. Anxiety therapy can be very present-focused, and we'll never move faster than you're ready for.

What kinds of anxiety do you work with?

I work with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic, health anxiety, school anxiety, performance anxiety, and anxiety related to life transitions. If you're unsure where you fit, we can explore that together.
