What to Expect
Feeling anxious, stuck, or just… “off”? You’re not alone—and you’re not weird. Whether it’s school, friendships, identity, or just feeling like things don’t fit, I get it. I offer a judgment-free, comfy space where you call the shots.
What happens next? First, a free 15-min chat—your questions, your pace.
How it works: You talk what you feel and what has been on your mind, I listen—no pressure. We figure out what you want, what helps.
You’re in control: Confidential. Flexible. Real.
Can’t talk face to face? We can meet online, or go for a walk-&-talk.
Still not sure? It’s okay. No pressure. Just know talking is brave—and it starts with one small step.
FAQ for Teens
What happens when you reach out?
We start with a free 15‑minute chat to see what you need and whether I’m a good fit. No commitment. If it feels right, we’ll book a first session together and I will send you the brief intake form.
What does a session feel like?
Relaxed and real. You set the pace. We can talk, take a short walk, or try practical tools. No forced sharing and no judgment.
Can I bring music/draw/doodle?
Absolutely. If fidgeting, sketching, or music helps you think or feel calmer, let’s use it.
Will my parents be told what I say?
Your privacy matters. I keep things confidential except when safety is a concern (for example, risk of serious harm). I’ll explain how this works at the start.
What if I don’t know what to say?
That’s really common. We can start with what’s been tough lately, or even just how today is going. I’ll ask gentle questions and we’ll figure it out together.
What if I don’t like it?
You can tell me - I can adjust the approach or I’ll help you find someone else who might be a better fit—no hard feelings.
Can I just come for one session?
For sure. There is no minimum, you can try a single session to see how it feels. Sometimes talking can feel a bit uncomfortable, so I recommend trying a few sessions.
What if I’m feeling pressure at school or on social media?
We can build a plan—boundaries, scripts for tricky situations, and quick skills for stress, sleep, and focus.
